Pumps
Requirements for a pump/household water system:
- • Pipework designed to specifications (refer to pump performance curves)
- • High efficiency in internal pump design
- • Consistent use of high-quality, corrosive-resistant materials throughout high-quality bearings, ease of maintenance
- • Operation without diaphragm pressure vessels by use of alternative pressure system controls
- • Quiet-running, low-noise (multiple-stage pumps) and sound insulated with flexible connections to the pipework
- • Proper installation of the pump with "run dry" protection
- • No large pressure tanks filled with water to the exclusion of oxygen
- • Low suction height for suction pumps and a short, airtight, suction feed pipe
